Jake Schaefer, MA
Founder and Leadership Consultant
Jake Schaefer is a licensed mental health counselor, leadership consultant, educator, and author with 25 years of experience helping people understand behavior, build practical skills, and connect their actions to outcomes.
As the founder of Renewed Minds Consulting and co-founder of Cedar Valley Counseling Services, Jake understands the challenges of leading people while balancing accountability, relationships, and business priorities. That experience shaped the Leadership Response System (LRS), which gives managers a consistent process and practical tools for addressing workplace people challenges.
Jake is also developing the Team Response System (TRS), coming in 2027, to equip HR professionals to guide teams in establishing shared expectations for communication, responsibilities, and accountability.
His focus is practical: help managers decide what to do next, help teams clarify how they work together, and provide the training and support to put those skills into everyday practice.
Reggie St. Romain
Primary Consultant, Team Response System
Reggie brings 30 years of leadership and management experience, including leading organizations with more than 200 employees. His background in team dynamics and organizational culture informs his practical approach to communication, clear expectations, and accountability.
As the primary consultant for the Team Response System (TRS), launching in 2027, Reggie will lead weekly implementation support sessions to help HR professionals guide teams through the process and put their shared expectations into everyday practice.
His focus is helping teams turn agreements into consistent actions—strengthening how they work together, solve problems, and hold one another accountable.
